I got the rant a couple of weeks ago and have put music on it, about 40 songs but only like 5 of the songs show up in my music player. it shows them on the phones folder on the computer, so it can't be b/c there's not enough space, some of the songs are in a different format so i thought that might be it but i would just like to verify. Also, i made a ring tone on i tunes but i don't know how to get it to where i can actually use it.Music and ring tones on the Rant.?

sprint does not allow you to use mp3 files in the memory card as ringtones. and you cant use itunes either,
itunes songs are for iphones only.
Sprint blocks all mp3 files to be used as ringtones. the only way is to follow the above tutorial from
ventones and convert the mp3 files to a video file.
You can even make a ringtone out of any youtube video.
then transfer that to your memory card.
ventones is the only free ringtone site that allows you to do that.

Can i transfer my songs on my itunes to my music folder on my samsung rant? if so how?
all my songs on my itunes are AAC and thats the same right version my phone needs.... i just dont know how to like put the songs from my itunes to my phone's music folder??? can someone help me get them into my phone so i can listen to them when ever i want cuzmy dad said he didnt want me to use sprint music store... so ya if any1 could help that would be great!!!!!! im going crazy i cant do it i have been trying to figure it out and mess with things for about 2 hours!!! ugh!! so one help pretty please!!!Can i transfer my songs on my itunes to my music folder on my samsung rant? if so how?
Did you know that you can drag music of screen in itunes.
Just open your phone folder . you can find this folder in ';computer';
select this from start menu.
Now start up itunes .
Now temporally move the side of itunes over so you can see the phone folder underneath then just drag what ever music you like.

be M4p and not M4a you will not be able to covert this if you should need to convert M4p burn it to cdrw with itunes then

You have to use some sort of music converter or better the software that came with your phone (Samsung PC studio) this will give you the option to convert it so that your phone can play it.

I just got it yesterday and put the usb cable in my pc and it downloaded something on my computer now everytime I insert the USB cable in my PC it doesn't do anything and I can't use my memory card because it is too small? Yea he is an idiot!! lol he sent me alot of emails that were very disrespectful!! he has changed his name a bunch of times cause he keeps getting reported i seen him today with a new name. ... he will just keep doing it!! i have went back and forth with him but it dosent matter he is an ***!! so just try to ignore him an maybe he will go away. I hate racisim i think its ridiculous its just skin color everyone is equal but unfortunetly he has issues and thinks differently so F*ck him!!

Its funny to me how people see rap as something that only blacks can do. White kids all listen to it, but sometimes if whites are really into hip hop they get remarks. I am a rich white kid and while many of my friends listen to hip hop, I still get the question every so often. ';Why are you trying to act black?'; This question just ticks me off and I know it especialy makes lots of blacks mad to hear. How can you act a skin pigment? Tiger Woods, Barack Obama, and Nas don't all act the same. Its just kind of ironic how some people act.
